Do you want to know more about your local or family history?

The Betley Local History Society will be hosting the Border History Society Fair in the Village Hall on Saturday October 14th from 10am. until 3pm. Border History Society represents a number of local history clubs from North Staffordshire and South Cheshire. 12 societies will be taking part and able to advise you on researching family and local history as well as displaying some of their own historical research about the local area.

In addition the "Musketeers" will be on hand (in costume) with specialist knowledge and a display of artifacts from the civil war.

There is no charge for admission and light refreshments will be available.


A night of Jazz and Swing

Saturday October 14th at 7.30 with The Suzanne Mott Quintet.

St Margaret's Church Autumn Fayre

This will be held in the Village Hall between 10a.m. and noon on Saturday 21st October.

It will feature gifts, crafts, tombola, plus cake, toy, Christmas and confectionary stalls. In aid of the Church Tower Restoration Fund

Betley Junior Youth Club hold sessions during term-times. Tuesdays from 6.pm to 7.30pm.

Only 2.50 per session and a range of fun activities for boys and girls aged 6 to 12.

The 1st Madeley Cubs, Scouts and Beavers meet every Wednesday evening at Betley Village Hall

Cubs are from 6 to 7.30pm and Scouts from 7.30 to 9pm.

Betley and Wrinehill Women's Institute

Betley and Wrinehill WI meet in the hall on the second Wednesday of the Month at 7.15pm. They will be holding a full set of monthly metings with talks and activities throughout 2017.
